C Spire and Microsoft Philanthropies' TEALS (Technology Education and Literacy in Schools) program are teaming up on efforts aimed at improving and accelerating teacher skills, professional development and high school classroom instruction in computer science in Mississippi.
One way we're helping bridge the coding gap inside our schools is with the Base Camp Coding Academy. It's a non-profit program focused on helping under-advantaged youth launch careers in computer science.
To help inspire more high school students to pursue computer science, we've created an entire regional coding competition called C3.
