Brad Carpenter

Chief Operating Officer

Brad Carpenter is the chief operating officer for C Spire. With more than 20 years of technology and management experience, he is responsible for effectively utilizing and deploying C Spire's full stack of telecom and technology assets, with a strong emphasis on operational excellence, timely innovation, and delivering superior customer experiences.

Prior to this role, Brad served as chief information officer where he was responsible for the strategic direction, management, and operations of the enterprise information technology systems for all C Spire lines of business. He also led C Spire's project management office and centralized product organization focused on product strategy, management, and innovation.

Carpenter holds bachelor’s degrees in business information systems and marketing from Mississippi State University. He is also a member of the board of trustees for the Base Camp Coding Academy (BCCA). The Water Valley-based BCCA is a charitable, nonprofit vocational education training program that delivers fast-paced, focused computer programming to under-advantaged youth in Mississippi to support the technology needs of local and regional employers.

This includes InformationWeek’s Elite 100 and was the top-ranked telecommunications provider in the U.S. on the list. C Spire was also named best Information Technology Company by the Mississippi Business Journal for two years.
