Understanding the Device Payment Plan

Payments In some cases, a down payment may be required when purchasing one or more devices on the Device Payment Plan. The price of the device, the results of our credit inquiry and the number of devices on your account affect this decision. You can, however, make a down payment on your Device Payment Plan purchase even if one isn't required. Any amount you make as a down payment will lower the amount financed and the amount you pay monthly. You'll have the option to make a down payment at checkout. There is also no penalty or additional cost to pay off your balance early and you can make partial payments at any time to accelerate device payoff. Activation Fee If you're a new C Spire customer, you'll pay the activation fee, if applicable, along with the sales tax on the device being purchased with the Device Payment Plan. Any eligible device discounts or promotional credit will be deducted from the total amount financed and will reduce the sales tax and monthly installment payments. Please Note If you change to a non-qualified plan, deactivate or upgrade before the term of the Device Payment Plan is complete, you'll be charged the remaining total balance of the smartphone. If you deactivate, you will be charged the remaining balance of the discounted smartphone at full price less any original trade in value. You will not have to pay for the discounts received prior to deactivation or upgrade. If you upgrade on the line with the discounted phone, you will be charged the remaining balance of the discounted smartphone less any original trade in value.
