C Spire Wireless SIM Kits

Prepaid SIM Kits are available for purchase at convenience stores throughout Mississippi. Check to see if your device is compatible with the C Spire Network.

Where do I buy a SIM Kit? SIM Kits can be purchased from a number of retailers and convenience stores throughout Mississippi including many rural areas.


How do I activate my SIM Kit? Just go to cspire.com/simactivate and follow the on-screen instructions.


How do I check to see if my phone will work on C Spire's network? Check compatibility at cspire.com/compatible. You'll need your phone's IMEI number. You can find the IMEI by dialing *#06#.


Is there a list of compatible phones anywhere? Yes, See compatible devices.


Where do I find my phone's IMEI number (also called ESN or MEID)? On most phones, dialing *#06# will display the IMEI on the screen. Or, you can use these manual instructions: iPhones:

  • Open your phone's Settings menu.
  • Tap General.
  • Tap About.
  • Scroll down and look for your IMEI number.
Tip: If you're accessing this page from your iPhone, you can copy the IMEI number in your settings and paste it in the space provided when checking compatibility. Android:
  • Open your phone's Settings menu.
  • Tap About Phone or About Tablet.
  • Tap Status.
  • Scroll down and look for your IMEI number.
Tip: You can also find the IMEI number printed inside the phone (usually under the battery) on Androids with an accessible battery.


What is the ICCID number and where do I find it? The ICCID number is a unique identifier for each SIM Card. On a C Spire SIM card you can find the ICCID on the back of the credit card-sized holder, just below where the actual SIM card pops out.


What happens when my 7-day trial is over? If you have not already selected and paid for a monthly plan, your account will automatically be placed on the Unlimited Talk & Text with Basic Data Plan for $25 per month. Until you pay for monthly service, however, your phone will be "hotlined" and you will only be able to use text messaging.


My phone wasn't compatible, can I return my SIM Kit? Unfortunately, just like with software, most retailers will not accept returns of SIM kits. We have great deals on phones, though, including some that you can usually get for free. Check out our prepaid device deals online, by calling 1-855-CSPIRE4 (277-4734), or at one of our stores.


I completed the process but my phone still doesn’t work. What should I do? We're sorry you're having trouble. First, try turning your phone off, leaving it off for 30 seconds and then turning it back on. If that doesn't work, either call 1-855-CSPIRE4 (277-4734) or visit the closest store. Please make note of any order or error number on your phone or computer screen and have the SIM card and your phone with you when you call or come in.
