Chief Marketing Officer
Jennifer Smodish Anderson is chief marketing officer for C Spire. She leads marketing, brand strategy, and communications for the company including digital marketing, ecommerce, advertising, creative, and marketing analytics. She joined C Spire in 2018.
Prior to her current role, she oversaw ecommerce, digital experience, and digital marketing strategy and operations as VP, Digital across C Spire’s lines of business. Before joining C Spire, she led global digital marketing, social media, and video production for Sealed Air, a Charlotte, North Carolina-based Fortune 500 packaging company. Prior to that, she was VP, Audience Development and Database Operations for Bonnier Corporation, a Florida-based publisher with more than 50 media brands. Anderson began her career in journalism, managing daily news sites for The New York Times Company’s Regional Media Group.
Anderson serves on the board of the Mississippi chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). She has also served on the board of Extra Table in Mississippi.
Anderson holds a master’s degree in online journalism from the University of California at Berkeley and an MBA from the University of North Carolina, Wilmington. She received her bachelor’s degree in journalism from Pepperdine University.
