Alan Jones

Chief Network Officer

Alan Jones joined C Spire in 2012 after the 2010 acquisition of Corr Wireless. Prior to C Spire, he held various roles for Corr Wireless as well as Oneonta Telephone Company including sales management, engineering, IT management and operations specializing in interdepartmental management, cross-functional team management, general operations, and strategic planning. Jones oversees all infrastructure, engineering, deployment and operations for the C Spire wireless and fiber networks. In the last few years, he has led the deployment of thousands of route miles of fiber for residential and business, 5G network deployment and wireless small deployment.

Outside of his duties with C Spire, Jones also serves on the Mississippi Underground Facilities Damage Prevention Board. He was also the inaugural chairman of that board helping ensure that the state of Mississippi was able to properly enforce 811 laws. Jones has also volunteered for many youth sports teams in the Jackson area.

Jones has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Alabama. While there, he participated with various academic, social and charitable organizations.
