NOTE: Do not insert your old device's physical SIM card into your new device. Doing so may cause service and experience issues. If your phone does not support eSIM or your phone does not have an available eSIM, then a physical SIM card will be shipped to you.
How will you know when your device is activated?
There are a few ways to know that your phone is ready to use:
C Spire Switch customers: Download the C Spire Switch app (App Store or Google Play). Follow the instructions in the C Spire Switch app to activate your device. If you encounter issues during activation, chat with us.
- With WiFi turned off, check the top right corner of your phone's display. If you see LTE or 5G, your service is active or will be active within five minutes.
- You will receive a message on screen that reads something like "UICC Activation Successful." The exact content of the message may vary by device.
- Wait five minutes after completing activation of your phone and then make a test call.
