Make sure of the following before trading in your device:
- Your old device must work. Ensure that it powers on, unlocks and navigates to the home screen.
- The front or back glass is not broken.
- Screen isn't cracked and doesn't have any dead spots.
- There's no liquid damage or corrosion.
- The device hasn't been disassembled or had any modifications done.
- Remove the passcode lock by going to Settings > Touch ID & Passcode > Turn Passcode Off.
- Delete iCloud and turn off Find My iPhone/iPad: Settings > iCloud > Sign Out > Delete From [Device] > Delete From My [Device] > Type in your password and click “Turn Off” to remove the iCloud account and turn off Find My iPhone/iPad.
- Back up your files.
- Confirm your device meets the above criteria.
- Send your old device to us using the envelope provided in your new device shipment. If you didn't receive a trade-in credit when you ordered your new device, a one-time credit will be applied to your bill within 45 days after we receive it.
