Setting your phone to allow data usage while on a call

***Devices available after 2022 already have the VoLTE service turned on. There's nothing you need to do to use data and voice at the same time. For older devices, please refer to the information below.***
To use our latest network enhancements, make sure your device software is up to date. Downloading the latest software update will automatically turn on the
VoLTE setting for your device. (VoLTE stands for Voice over LTE.) If your phone already has the latest device software and you have the WiFi Calling feature turned on, no action is needed for you to start using these new features.
If you don't see your device in the list below or if you are experiencing issues using voice and data at the same time, download the latest software for your device.
To Download Software Updates:
Apple iOS – Go to Settings > General > Software Update
Android OS – Download the latest software update for your device in the Settings menu.

Note: Android devices require you to download any previous updates to get to the latest version. For example, if you’re three updates behind, you’ll need to download all three to get up to date.
