How to understand your C Spire Wireless bill

The first page of your bill summarizes the more important information, such as:

A — The name and address of the account holder. B — The billing period, also referred to as the billing cycle. C — The account number. D — The total amount due and payment due date. The total amount due includes any past-due balance or credit from the previous billing period. E — The summary shows the amount due and payments made for the previous billing period along with charges for the current billing period. Any past-due balance will be noted here. The sum of these amounts makes up the total amount due. F — The date when a late fee is applied if a payment is not received. G — If paying by mail, detach this bottom portion and mail along with your payment. You can include a change of address on the back of this payment portion. H — If you’ve set up automatic payments for your wireless bill, this section will be replaced with the following message. "No payment necessary! A payment will be drafted on due date!"

The second page of your bill explains different payment methods; various billing terms, their codes and meaning; and service-related information. The section at the bottom of the page is for submitting a change of address to C Spire via mail.

The third page of your bill provides a breakdown of your charges, fees and credits for the current billing period. Any balance carried over from previous billing periods will also be included here.

The fourth page of your bill recaps payments and charges for the previous billing period and breaks out the current billing period’s charges by mobile number.

A — The previous billing period’s charges and payments. B — The current billing period’s charges by mobile number. C — The total amount due. Any remaining balance from a previous billing period is included in this amount.

The fifth and remaining pages of your bill show the per-line charges and usage summary, including:

A — Another summary of the account holder’s name, account number and billing period closing date. B — The lines on the account, showing the line name and phone number. Each page can show up to two lines—one on each half of the page. C — The recurring monthly charges, in addition to one-time charges, promotional credits, and partial-month charges for changes made during the billing period. These charges make up the bulk of the amount due for the line. Taxes and fees are found below this section. D — Your total monthly charges for this line. E — The usage information for this line, broken down by airtime, data and roaming.
