How to Transfer Your C Spire Phone Number

To transfer your C Spire phone number to another carrier, you'll need to have the required account information on hand and confirm your number transfer via text message within 8 hours of submitting a request. A few other things to note:
  • You'll need to have active C Spire service to transfer your phone number to a new carrier. If you've already disconnected your C Spire service, you'll need to reactivate it to complete your transfer.
  • If you're trading in your C Spire device to another carrier, be sure to wait until after your transfer is complete. You'll need your C Spire device to confirm your phone number transfer.
The following restrictions apply:
  • Only the account holder can complete a phone number transfer or disconnect any line on the account.
  • To disconnect the line or service of a deceased customer, a relative or the executor of the estate should contact us.
  • You'll need to pay any remaining balance before disconnecting your service. If you're disconnecting due to military deployment, the remaining balance may be waived if you return your device with a copy of your orders.
