How to request a payment extension

If you need more time to pay your wireless or home services bill, you can request a payment extension, which, if approved, will extend your payment due date by six days for the current billing period only. You can request one payment extension per billing period, and a $10 payment extension service fee is charged for every approved payment extension.
 
Note: You can request a payment extension if you:
  • Are a consumer wireless or home services customer.
  • Have a past-due balance that is not more than 60 days past due.
  • Have been a C Spire customer for at least six months.
  • Have a postpaid plan (not available for prepaid plans).
  • Have active service (meaning your service has not been deactivated yet).

Choose Billing from the side navigation.
Request a payment extension if you need more time to pay your bill.
Accept payment extension fee to continue.
See your new payment due date.
Note: Even if you are approved for a payment extension, you must pay the past-due balance before performing certain actions on your account, such as upgrading a device or adding a line.
