Derek Doyle
Chief Financial Officer
Derek Doyle brings over 25 years of strategic experience in controllership, financial planning, and accounting across various industries, including manufacturing, med-tech, insurance, technology, and public accounting. As the newly appointed Chief Financial Officer of C Spire, he will oversee financial strategies that align with C Spire’s vision and mission. His responsibilities include financial planning, internal and external reporting, accounting, tax, supply chain, and treasury functions.
Before joining C Spire, Doyle served as the vice president controller and chief accounting officer at LP Building Solutions, where he led the transformation of the finance and accounting functions, significantly expanding shareholder value. He also held finance and accounting leadership roles at SmileDirectClub and the Asurion Group. Doyle began his career in public accounting, spending nearly a decade with Ernst & Young.
Doyle holds a master’s degree in accountancy from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and is a graduate of Auburn University.
