Ridgeland, Miss., May 12, 2026 — Connie Siggers-Parker, director of human resources at C Spire, an advanced technology provider that delivers customer-inspired solutions, has been named one of Mississippi’s Most Influential African Americans 2026 by Our Mississippi magazine.
The annual recognition honors a distinguished group of leaders who shape communities, strengthen organizations and drive progress across the state. An independent advisory panel of statewide business and community leaders selected Siggers-Parker and 21 other honorees, based on public nominations.
“Connie’s recognition as one of Mississippi’s Most Influential African Americans reflects the positive change she helps drive through leadership grounded in purpose and integrity,” said Lauren Lawhorn, chief human resources officer at C Spire. “She strengthens teams, develops leaders and shows what thoughtful, people centered leadership looks like in practice.”
With more than 17 years of experience in human resources, Siggers Parker is known for her focus on leadership development, employee relations and aligning people strategies with business priorities. Since joining C Spire, she has partnered closely with leaders across the company to support team members, strengthen organizational capability and help navigate complex issues with clarity and confidence. She holds SHRM CP and PHR certifications and serves as college relations director for the Mississippi Capital Area Human Resource Association.

Siggers-Parker and leaders from WLBT, the University of Mississippi Medical Center, Jackson Public Schools, Nissan, Entergy and Mississippi Power will be honored at the 2026 Our Mississippi Honors Gala on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at the Two Mississippi Museums in Jackson, Mississippi.
