RIDGELAND, Miss. (August 29, 2025) – C Spire, a Mississippi-based advanced technology solutions company, is expanding its ultra-fast fiber internet to more than 2,000 residents’ homes across eight Tate County fiberhoods. This initiative aligns with C Spire’s commitment to enhancing lives through technology by delivering dependable, high-speed connectivity to empower residents.

Construction is expected to be completed within the next four months. Once complete, Tate County residents will have access to C Spire’s multi-gig speeds, which are 40 times faster than traditional internet, with over 99.99% reliability, and local 24/7 support.

C Spire began offering fiber service in Senatobia in 2024 and is now expanding to Tate County. The fiber launch follows recent expansions in neighboring DeSoto County, where C Spire was awarded grants for broadband expansion projects in 2024 through the DeSoto County Broadband Connectivity Program and the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA).
C Spire now offers fiber services to more than 160 communities across Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, and Tennessee and continues to invest in fiber infrastructure.
