TROY, Ala. (February 25, 2025) – The C Spire Foundation announced today that it is donating $15,000 to Troy University to establish a scholarship program. This initiative will benefit three students majoring in Accounting, Computer and Information Sciences, Electronics Engineering, or Cyber Security, each receiving a $5,000 scholarship for the 2025-2026 school year.
The scholarship program aims to ease the financial burden of education while supporting the future workforce in C Spire's communities by empowering future leaders, creating career pathways, and strengthening the local talent pipeline. The Troy University Scholarship Committee will select the recipients, and the scholarships will be awarded for the academic year beginning in the fall. The scholarships are for one year, but recipients can reapply the following year.

"By supporting Troy University students, we are fostering future leaders and highlighting the importance of innovation for a better future for our region."
