RIDGELAND, Miss. (Feb. 4, 2025) – Conrad Bell, senior vice president and chief information security officer at C Spire, a diversified telecommunications and technology services company, has been named one of Mississippi's "Most Influential African Americans" 2024-25 by Our Mississippi magazine.
Bell and 18 other honorees were selected by an independent panel of state-wide business and community leaders, who evaluated nominations received from the public.
Bell has more than 25 years of experience in information technology and cybersecurity. Since joining C Spire in 2016, Bell has helped lead, develop, and implement cybersecurity strategic goals and align security initiatives with business, strategic, and tactical objectives. Bell has a bachelor's degree in computer science and a master's degree in information assurance and holds several industry certifications, including Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).

Bell and leaders from Entergy, United Way, Nissan, and Jackson State University will be honored at the 2025 Our Mississippi Honors Gala on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at the Hilton in Jackson, Mississippi.
