– C Spire, a diversified telecommunications and technology services company, continues to invest in wireless enhancements in the communities of Tinsley and Fame, at the Hood Scout Reservation in Copiah County and Caledonia and Nanih Waiya High School. The upgrades are part of C Spire's $35 million investment over the last 15 months in critical parts of its service area.

C Spire customers visiting the Hood Scout Reservation in Copiah County and those living in the communities of Fame and Tinsley are seeing broader coverage, improved performance, and faster speeds due to the newly added macro sites, which cover considerable distances.
The addition of small cell sites is boosting coverage and speeds in-building for parents, students, and administrators at Caledonia High School and Nanih Waiya High School. Small cells stretch macro site coverage and add capacity in high-demand areas like schools with an influx of parents and students throughout the day.
In Mississippi, customers spend approximately five and a half hours daily on smartphones. C Spire's network team focuses on customer usage and patterns to strategically plan where to add speed, capacity, and coverage enhancements. C Spire plans to deploy more small cell and macro sites in other areas of Mississippi in the coming months.
