Pike County, Miss. (July 8, 2024) –
C Spire, a diversified telecommunications and technology services company, is launching its ultra-fast fiber connectivity in Pike County. More than 200 residents in Summit and more than 2,100 residents in McComb will soon have access to C Spire’s multi-gig home internet which has faster internet speeds than DSL or cable internet.
“Fiber is a vital service that gives residents the connectivity they need for work, school, and leisure,” said Toby Dubois, general manager of home services for C Spire. “This investment in Pike County will extend C Spire’s ultra-fast and reliable home internet to more Mississippians and empower them today and in the future.”
Construction in two Summit neighborhoods is underway and will be completed within six months. Construction in the first of 14 neighborhoods in McComb will start later this month and continue for the next six months.
The C Spire fiber expansion in Pike County has the community’s backing because of the shared goal for improved connectivity.

C Spire began offering wireless service in the Pike County area in 1990 and has had a retail store in McComb since 1998. The company now provides fiber internet services to businesses and residents, and a full suite of products for businesses and government entities.
