C Spire Selects Zerto as Enterprise Class Disaster Recovery Business Partner

Cloud services unit gains access to business building tools to grow IT resilience offering for businesses

Ridgeland, Miss., (August 14, 2017) – The cloud services and computing solutions unit for C Spire, a diversified telecommunications and technology services company, has chosen Zerto as its enterprise class disaster recovery solution vendor.

C Spire Cloud Solutions, which began offering Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS) last year, will use Zerto’s award-winning IT resilience cloud solution – Zerto Virtual Replication (ZVR) – to power its DRaaS offering.

C Spire now has access to the business building tools, training and certification programs exclusively available through the Zerto Alliance Program (ZAP). As a 100 percent channel sales focused company, Zerto’s multi-tiered, partner enablement program is designed to drive business growth for cloud service provider partners.

“As organizations evolve from managing their own data centers and embrace working with cloud service providers, they’re realizing much greater value as they gain enhanced expertise and infrastructure flexibility working with providers such as C Spire,” said Jason Cowie, Senior Director of Global Partner and Channel Sales for Zerto.

“The broad applicability for DRaaS is helping customers get more from their technology investments as they take advantage of the operational efficiencies associated with using the cloud while increasing their IT resilience to thrive through any data center disruption,” Cowie added.

C Spire Cloud Solutions provides a broad range of advanced data and cloud services through its nationwide data center ecosystem of Tier III commercial facilities that meet SOC, HIPAA and PCI requirements. The company uses premium providers on all critical systems.

“Zerto is recognized industry-wide for offering best-in-class protection, ensuring that companies have the ability to quickly and efficiently replicate and protect their mission-critical data and applications,” said C Spire Senior Vice President Brian Caraway. “We offer the most innovative solutions for our customer’s IT dollar investment and are proud to offer Zerto Virtual Replication to our enterprise and government customers.”

Caraway said the company’s state-of-the-art data centers and significant buried fiber network positions C Spire as a premier provider of back up, disaster recovery, business continuity and cloud-based information technology solutions in the Southeast. “Our portfolio also incorporates best-in-class technical service provided by IT architects who work personally with customers to manage a secure transition to the cloud,” he added.
