How to Get Ready for Your C Spire Fiber Appointment

Make sure all TVs and computers are in your home and working at the time of the installation.
Know where you want your Fiber connection outlet installed. Centralized locations are best. If your home has previously had C Spire Fiber installed, make sure the existing outlet is accessible.
Be sure an adult 18 years or older will be present for the duration of the installation. It usually takes between 2 and 4 hours.
Make sure all pets are secured while the technician is in your home.

INTERNET & WIFI

Make sure your computers are fully updated prior to the appointment.
If you're using your own WiFi router, make it available to the technician if you would like C Spire to install and configure it for you.
If you ordered C Spire Smart WiFi, the technician will discuss your usage patterns. By default, Smart WiFi comes with 2 pods that cover a typical 2-to-3 bedroom home. Larger homes or multi-story homes will benefit from having additional pods. Based on WiFi coverage, our technician will make a recommendation on the number of pods your homes needs in order to get the most out of your gigabit fiber installation.
