C Spire Wireless Launches PERCS Million Points Giveaway Contest; Offering Wireless Users The Chance To Score Big This March

To Celebrate College Basketball’s Biggest Stage and the Success of the Nation’s First Personalized Customer Engagement Program, C Spire Will Give Away One Million Rewards Points

Ridgeland, Miss. (March 1, 2012) – The nation’s top college basketball stars aren’t the only ones that will score big this March. With the launch of C Spire’s unprecedented PERCS Million Points Giveaway contest, one wireless user will score a million PERC points – giving them access to valuable rewards personalized just for them.

The contest, which kicks off today, will run through the month of March, ending with the announcement of the PERCS Million Points Giveaway winner on April 4 following the conclusion of the big championship game.

Since C Spire launched the PERCS rewards program last fall, the nation’s only personalized customer engagement program, participants have earned more than 21 million PERCS points and redeemed over 75,000 status points for some great rewards.

“Consumers are excited about getting rewarded for engaging with our brand and being associated with a company that recognizes and values their desire for a personalized wireless experience,” said Kevin Hankins, chief operating officer for C Spire Wireless. With one million PERCS points, the benefits the winner will experience are substantial. The winner can choose how they would like to use their reward points, which have the equivalent value of $3,000 toward device costs, $5,000 for accessories, free activations and more.

Hankins said the company also is working to develop an approved list of popular community-based charities and non-profit programs that civic-minded customers can designate to donate their accumulated PERCS reward points.

Entry into C Spire’s PERCS Million Points Giveaway contest is easy and fun. Wireless users have a variety of ways to enter, including once each online at cspire.com, in stores, on Circle and through social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Google+. Wireless users can receive up to 50 points each time for using the various online, retail and social media channels to enter the contest.

C Spire Wireless has already experienced early success with the nation’s first personalized consumer engagement program, with nearly half of smartphone users and thousands of non-customers earning more than 21 million points.
