RIDGELAND, Miss., (Feb. 16, 2023) - C Spire, a diversified telecommunications and technology services company, has continued to invest in wireless enhancements across the Mississippi Gulf Coast, boosting service to schools, cities, sheriff’s offices – and just in time for Mardi Gras.
C Spire’s wireless network, as well as how customers utilize it, is always evolving. In fact, in Mississippi, the average customer uses their smartphone about five and a half hours every day. This is 35% more than the global average – translating into greater demand from residents, cities, municipalities, schools, and law enforcement. And with Mardi Gras in full swing, the Gulf Coast area is hosting more than 20 separate events through February 21st, pushing demand for wireless even higher.
"Our goal is to consistently focus on our customers usage patterns and improve the customer experience," said Alan Jones, Chief Network Officer for C Spire.
