Twelve-time sports Emmy winner, television broadcaster and College Game Day analyst to promote brand
Ridgeland, Mississippi (September 1, 2020) - Emmy Award-winning television broadcaster and ESPN analyst Kirk Herbstreit is partnering with C Spire as a brand spokesperson for its business division, it was announced today.

Herbstreit will help C Spire in a variety of ways such as digital and social media promotion, brand spokesperson, business development and content creation for its business division, which provides IT solutions such as internet, VoIP and a suite of managed services to firms ranging in size from small to enterprise.

Since 1995, Herbstreit has been a college football analyst for ESPN/ABC. In 1996, he joined Chris Fowler and co-analyst Lee Corso on ESPN’s College GameDay program making 2020 Herbstreit’s 25th season on this popular Emmy Award-winning studio show. Since 2006, Herbstreit has been the game analyst for ABC’s Saturday Night Prime Time broadcast.
Herbstreit has won 13 Sports Emmy Awards including Best Studio Analyst, Best Event Analyst and Best Studio Show. Herbstreit has also called 12 National Championship games and 14 Rose Bowls, more than any other college football analyst.
A 1993 graduate of The Ohio State University, Herbstreit is a former OSU quarterback and was the team captain for the 1992 season. He and his family reside in Nashville, Tennessee.
Herbstreit has been a special guest speaker for various C Spire Business events over the last several years in Jackson, Nashville, Mobile and Birmingham discussing a variety of topics with company executives and dozens of business owners.
