Lifeline Assistance

We believe wireless service should be available to everyone, no matter their income.

That's why we support the Lifeline program in Mississippi and Alabama. It helps those with low incomes get phone service and communicate with friends and family.

C Spire offers a monthly credit of $9.25 for wireless service through the Lifeline program. All postpaid calling plans are available to Lifeline Assistance subscribers. View C Spire calling plans. (Pay As You Go plans are not eligible.)

Lifeline is a government benefit program. Only one Lifeline discount is allowed per household, consisting of either wireless or wireline service. Additional lines do not qualify for the discounted Lifeline rates. Only eligible consumers may participate in the program, and C spire must receive satisfactory evidence of eligibility. Lifeline service cannot be transferred from one person to another.

Lifeline is currently available to any consumer participating in a qualifying government assistance program or meeting a total household income below a certain level.
